My thesis is an exploration of material transformation. This area of interest stems from how I prefer to work, investigating boundaries and absolute definitions of everyday objects to challenge what we may think we know about their pre-defined role. By separating these objects from their original intent, I can give them a new meeting and shift how we see them.
The series of photographs - Titled Tension Studies - explores the merging and conflict between two systems and the constant reverberation between interior and exterior language.
